The work, in outline.

Agree the rooms, inclusions and dependencies before arranging preparation and the work sequence. Coordinate structural or service work where needed, then surfaces, installation and decoration. Check hidden work and prepare sound, suitable surfaces before covering them; painting may need repairs, filling, sanding, dust removal and a suitable primer, depending on the background. Discuss communication during the work and a completion walkthrough with finishing items identified.
